For the past 66 years, the Thoma family has owned and operated George A. Thoma Funeral Home, Inc.  It has been an honor and a privilege to care for your loved ones and help families in our community to navigate the bereavement process.  I would like to thank all of you that have entrusted your loved ones to us over the years.

After many years of helping your families, I have made the difficult decision to retire on July 1, 2024. Effective on July 1, 2024 the funeral home will be closed permanently.  I have been part of this community for all those years, and I have known many of you for the entire time.  That has made this decision even more difficult.

All information regarding funerals, trust accounts and prearrangements has been turned over to Jaime Hahn of Hahn Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. 123 North Ave., Pittsburgh Pa 15209   412-821-3700.
